Hardwired Networks

NetSimplicity install hardwired networks for both domestic and commercial clients.

Network Hardwire InstallationIn a commercial setting, reliable hardwired networks are crucial for running a successful business. Whether you operate a coffee shop needing to provide WiFi to customers or manage a commercial unit where staff and clients require connection to network servers or internet access, NetSimplicity can deliver a suitable solution.

Cabling InstallationHardwired networks can often be the sole solution for a reliable home internet or server connection, especially when WiFi is problematic. In such cases, a direct hardwire link between your router and devices ensures a stable connection.

  • CAT6 Gigabit cabling
  • Internal or External Grade installation
  • Network Cabinets
  • Patch Panels
  • Individual Networking Points
  • Network Switches
  • Access Points

All installed networks have been thoroughly tested and commissioned, and are now ready for the direct connection of your equipment.

Hardwire Faults & Troubleshooting

ErrorNetsimplicity provides a fault-finding and troubleshooting service for CAT5e/6/7 networks, catering to both domestic and business clients. Should a specific connection present issues, we can examine the cabling for faults, identify the problem, and propose a solution to restore your connectivity.

Connections between wall plates and patch panels can sometimes be problematic and challenging to diagnose without the appropriate testing equipment. In cases where a cable is compromised and cannot be replaced or repaired, we can often find a solution to re-establish the connection.

Why Hardwired?

While WiFi provides flexibility and convenience, a wired network ensures enhanced security, faster speeds, and greater reliability for connecting office computers and devices.

Security

Wired networks, which connect devices via physical cables, are significantly more challenging to access without authorization. For those seeking to maintain a network that is as secure and restricted as possible, opting for a wired network is advisable.

Reliability

Wired networks offer a dependable, consistent download and upload speed that is not influenced by environmental factors. Since these networks are insulated and do not transmit signals through the air, they are not prone to speed fluctuations or interference from other wireless devices. Although the latest 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard can theoretically reach speeds of up to 1,000MB per second, older hardware may not support this standard, with 802.11n topping out at 600MB/s. In contrast, Gigabit Ethernet delivers a steady 1,000MB/s connection.

Distance

The fastest 802.11ac Wi-Fi speeds widely used today can reach a maximum range of 90 to 300 feet depending on the frequency, under ideal conditions. However, factors such as inferior hardware, interference from other devices, and physical barriers like walls and floors can significantly diminish this range. In contrast, Ethernet cables can run up to 330 feet without degrading signal quality. For extensive floor areas, a wired solution may extend your network’s reach beyond that of a wireless setup.
