Hardwired Networks

NetSimplicity install hardwired networks for both domestic and commercial clients.

Network Hardwire InstallationIn a commercial environment reliable Hardwired Networks is a top priority to help run a successful business, whether you’re operated a Coffee Shop that you need to supply WiFi to your customers or running a commercial unit that staff and clients need to be connected to retrieve data from your network servers or access the internet, NetSimplicity can offer you a solution.

Cabling InstallationHardwired Networks for you home can often be the only solution for reliable connection to the internet or home server, when WiFi becomes difficult in certain circumstances a hardwire connection between your router and hardware is the only solution.

  • CAT6 Gigabit cabling
  • Internal or External Grade installation
  • Network Cabinets
  • Patch Panels
  • Individual Networking Points
  • Network Switches
  • Access Points

All installed networks are fully tested and commissioned, ready for you to directly connect your equipment.

Hardwire Faults & Troubleshooting

ErrorNetsimplicity offer a fault finding and troubleshooting service for CAT5e/6 networks for both domestic and business clients. If a particular connection is causing issues we can test the cabling for faults, diagnose the problem and offer a solution to get you connected again.

Connection between wall plates and patch panels can sometime be problematic and difficult to diagnose without the proper testing equipment, where a cable is compromised and cannot be replaced or repaired we can often find a solution to get you connected again.

Why Hardwired?

WiFi has its advantages in terms of flexibility and convenience, but a wired network offers security, speed and reliability for connecting your office computers and devices.

Security

As wired networks are connected by physical cables from one device to another, it is much more difficult to access them without authorisation. If you want to keep your network as closed and secure as possible, then a wired network is recommended.

Reliability

Wired networks bring with them a reliable, constant download and upload speed unaffected by the environment. As these networks are closed off and don’t travel through the air, they aren’t susceptible to fluctuations in speed or interference from other wireless devices. While the most recent 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard can theoretically achieve speeds of 1,000MB per second, older hardware isn’t up to this standard — 802.11n maxes out at 600MB/s. Gigabit Ethernet provides a stable, constant 1,000MB/s connection.

Distance

The fastest 802.11ac Wi-Fi speed currently in widespread use can achieve a maximum range of depending of frequency of between 90 and 300ft in the most ideal conditions, although substandard hardware, interference from other devices and physical obstacles such as walls and floors can substantially reduce this distance. Ethernet cabling, in contrast, can stretch up to 330 feet without any loss of quality. If you have a lot of floor space to cover, then a wired solution enables you to stretch your network further than a wireless one.
